Well Day 5 has arrived far to quickly, and its been an enjoyable week with lots of beautiful cards and inspiration from all the teams.

This is my offering for today.

and this is what I used:-

White card
Light purple card
Black Card
Patterned paper
Dreamweaver stencil LG762 Thoughtful Fairy
Stampendous  Stamp CRP113
Alcohol Pens
Distress ink pad
Stampendous Detail Black embossing powder
Frantage Encusted Jewels Purple
Adhesive pearl gems
Selection of Buttons
Liquid pearls - White
Ribbon
Versamark Ink pad
Stampendous ultra Fine glitter  - Lavender

This is how I completed the card:-

Start out with the Stampendous vineyard stamp and stamp using versamark ink pad  cover this with the detail black embossing powder and heat with a heat gun. Colour the image (I used distress ink pads and alcohol pens)  On the furrow areas of the image I used a quickie Glue pen and scattered the Frantage Encrusted Jewels on to this. Once this is on the image heat from underneath to adhere all the different  'jewels' to the background.

The fairy panel is next and for this I drew around the stencil design with a Black Pigma fine liner.  The fairy was then coloured with alcohol markers. To finish this panel I used white liquid pearls and then scattered Stampendous Ultra fine glitter (lavender) over the top. This will give the fairy sparkle

The final stages are to put the card together, and add adhesive pearls to  card along with buttons (each has a adhesive pearl in the centre, I coloured these with my alcohol pens to match my card.  The last thing as always was to tie ribbon round the spine of the card with a double knot .

Here are the rest of the teams creations

If you are in the UK or Europe and would like to purchase any of the products for the above projects they are all available from The Stampman or your local Woodware Stockist.

I really hope you have enjoyed the week.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely Easter

Day 4 wheres the week going........ much too fast.

Heres my project for today

It includes a bit of Dreamweaver Die cutting, dry embossing with a dreamweaver stencil and some Clear Magic Stamps from Woodware.

This is what I used:-
Cream card
Black card
Patterned paper
Dreamweaver Die DM2001  Petite Fern
Dreamweaver Stencil LX7029    I Frame
Woodware Clear Magic Stamps  JSG384   Decorative Dove
Woodware Clear Magic Stamp    JGCL572  Daisy Lyers
Alcohol pens to colour flowers and leaves on stamp
Green ink pad
Stencil Brush
Big Shot
Rubber mat

This is how I created the card:-

Take Cream card and stamp the Decorative Dove image twice... 1 will be the background and the other cut for the Decoupaged Dove.  The background image had the leaves coloured in a green.  The second image had the Stencil attached to it and was put through the Big shot to get the dry embossed pattern. I then cut out the dove and used the stencil brush to get the colour on to it.  I used the rouging technique to apply the colour.  I then stamped the flowers and coloured them with pens, and cut out the Fern die 3 times.

I then put the layers together and made a pretty, Spring card

Here are the of the teams creations:-

I hope you liked my card and have enjoyed the Collaboration so far this week.

Here is my Day 2 project

This is what I used:-

Woodware Stamp Clear Magic  FRS227 (Curly Stitched Background)
Dreamweaver Stencil LG759 ( Shell Wreath)
Dreamweaver Stencil LG755 (Sail Boat)
Momento Black Onyx ink Pad
White Matte Embossing paste
Metallic FX powders Assorted colours
Patterned card
Patterned paper
Cream Card blank
Distress ink pad
Liquid pearls White
Ribbon
Palette knife

This is how I completed the card:-

Place a piece of fairly plain patterned paper on to the backing card and distress the edges. Use the shell wreath stencil and use the rouging technique to create the background design. I also placed the stencil back over the middle of the wreath and added more of the shells. I only did 2 of the sides as the other 2 sides wouldn't be seen. I next completed the curly swirly panel, this was stamped with Versafine black ink pad, the edges were distressed with the same colour of green ink pad and this piece was then matted on to a pale beige patterned card.  The final panel was done using patterned blue card the Sailboat stencil and white matt embossing paste, and once the stencil was removed Dreamweaver Metallic FX powder was scattered over the paste the excess removed and the panel heated to give a molten magic finish.  The card was then constructed before the final 2 steps. Once the card is together take white liquid pearls and place a small dot of this to the end of each curl on the stamped panel and also I placed 3 dots on end side of the corners of the top panel.

There you have it  a fairly quick card but suitable for lots of occasions.

Here is what the teams have done for day 2:-

Day one of a 5 day collaboration and the combination of 3 different areas of papercrafting, all come together.  I really enjoyed making this card and I know that this could be used for numerous occasions.

Here is my project for day 1:

Here is what I used:-

Green card (for base)
Black card
White Card
Patterned paper
Distress ink pad
Stampendous Gold Halo glitter mix
Stampendous stamp CRR222 Cling Bird Gears
Dreamweaver Stencil LJ911 Gears
Blending tool
Waterbrush
Quickie glue pen
Adhesive gems
Big Shot Die cutting machine

and this is what I did:-

1 Take stencil and run through the die cutting machine, and once done colour the piece using the Strie technique.  Trim the piece down and then cut into 4 equal panels.

2 Matt these on to black card.

3 Stamp the image on to another piece of white card and use waterbrush to watercolour certain areas.  I chose to colour the bird, around the wheel and the frame.

4 I then used a blending tool and applied the same coloured ink pad to the background...... this was to make the white card blend and not seem so stark.

5 Use the Quickie glue pen to highlight some of the stamped image.......I highlighted the feathers of the bird, the dots around the circle, certain areas of the wing, the circles of the wheels and the long pieces in the bottom right of the stamp.

6 I then matted this panel on to black card and put the card together, the final touches were to add the adhesive gems to the corners of the panels and for the birds eye I used a small star shaped adhesive gem.  I coloured all the gems with a black alcohol marker (as I didn't have any black gems to hand).

Thats my card, and here are the designer’s sharing the projects today:-

March into Spring week 2

Ready for fresh air, sunshine, new leaves, and flowers blooming? Well, the Dream Team is right there with you! Our challenge for the month of March is...coincidentally...Marching into Spring. Per usual, we'd love to have you play along with us, and link your own creations to the Inlinkz tool on the Dream It Up! blog, or at the bottom of this post. Play as many times as you'd like. Those of you who work Dreamweaver and/or Stampendous products into your projects receive bonus points, but everyone has an opportunity to be the winner who receives the stencil of their choice.

I must admit I cannot wait for the longer days, the warming of the sun and spring flowers.

Here's my hint of Spring:

The swirl background stencil swirls into the Daffodils and the stamped image words are Trumpet and ........ trumpets lead to marching............that was my thought process......mmmmmm!!

This is what you will need:-
Green card
Black card
White card
Ribbon
Alcohol pens
Stampendous stamp Trumpet daffodil
Dreamweaver Stencil LX7029
Sentiment stamp Hello

To complete the card:-

1 Take a piece of white card and stamp with black Momento ink pad.  Once dry colour in with colouring medium of your choice.  (I used alcohol pens). When colouring finished put to one side.

2 Take a piece of white card and attach the stencil to this.  I just taped on 2 sides, and then went around all the stencil pattern with a Sakura Black Glaze pen.  Once done leave to dry, when dry start to colour in the design, I used the colours of the rainbow.

3 It is then just a case of matting the daffodils and the stencil design on  to black card.  Stamp the sentiment in black on to white card, matt on to black card and complete the card.

The "B" team would love to share their interpretations of this theme:

I hope you like my 'March into Spring'.
