Black and White Day 3

Classic, elegant, clean and crisp - that is what black and whit designs mean to me.  The technique of doodling and zentangling  are mostly completed in black and white.  My card this weekI have gone back to one of what in the past was an all time favourite .........Peel offs.  Instead of the card just being plain  I have added to the focal point  by doodling in all the areas of the peel off.

So here is my card for this week

 This is what I used

2 sheets of white floral peel offs 4088W
2 sheets of black floral peel offs
8 x 8 black base card
6 x 6 white card
33/4 x 33/4 black card
3 x 3 white card
0.01 Black micron pigma pen
3D foam
Double sided tape

This is how the card was completed

1  Take pieces of white and black card and cut to the sizes given in the requirements

2  Using the black  base card and the white peel offs, and place one of the flowers in each corner and in between place groups of 3 leaves. Put this piece to one side.

3  With the larger of the white card pieces place one of the black flower peel offs into each corner. Put this piece and the smaller black to one side.

4  On the smallest white card piece place one of the black flower peel off in the centre.
Continue with this piece and doodle in each area of the peel off using the black micron pigma.

5  The next step is to put the layers together.  The large white piece is attached to the base card with double sided tape.  The rest of the layers are attached using 3D foam.  Instead of putting the last 2 layers on to the card straight I put them on the diagonal to give texture and dimension.

There you have this weeks card very quick to make.  I hope you like it and for more ideas and inspiration have a look at the Woodware blog.

Thanks for stopping by.
