Woodware collaboration day 4

Yes! It's that time of year again! The time when we inspire crafters on both sides of the "pond" with a mix of bothDreamweaver and Woodware UK* products for the holidays! Six days, SIX, of beautiful, elegant, merry, cute, artsy, and craftsy projects to have you heading out to your local stores or internet sites to buy these goodies immediately!

Of course, there will be prizes as well. Three prize packages will be given to three commenters during this week's posts on the team's blogs, including five stencils and one nested die set. You can have an opportunity to win these goodies by leaving some holiday sweetness for each team member posting each day, to be one of the three winners for the week. Here are the team members that are inspiring you today:
Christmas is still on our minds here on the Woodware / Dreamweaver Collaboration.........my thought today is what would Christmas be without a Christmas Tree.   So of course my card had to have a Christmas Tree.

I thought that would use the Dreamweaver Dies , I wanted depth to my 'forest' and a stamped image.

This is what you will need:-
A5 sheet of white card
Dreamweaver Tree Line  Die DG745
Gold mirri card
Black card
Woodware Clear Magic JGS356
Ribbon
Versamark ink pad
Dreamweaver Metallic FX - goldfinch
Stencil Brush

and this how to create the card:-

To create the Tree Line background cut one black and one gold mirri card using the Tree Line Die.  Cut both of these in half, this means that you can alter the width of you tree line ( the gap that is created will be covered by the stamped image. Layer the two pieces so that there is shadow showing.

The centre panel is created by stamping the tree image using the Versamark ink pad and apply the Dreamweaver Metallic mica powder with a stencil brush over the stamped image.  The mica powder attaches to the Versamark as this is a sticky ink pad.  Trim the black panel down and matt on to gold mirri card and leave only a very fine border.

The next step is to apply the ribbon and finally stamp the sentiment in the bottom corners of the card.

There's your card quick and simple, if you have a lot of cards to make these are really quick.

The rest of the team have been busy as well today.......check out what they have been doing:-

If you are in the UK or Europe and would like to purchase any of the products for the above project they are all available from The Stampman or your local Woodware Stockist and Notions Marketing in the USA..

Thanks for stopping by

Gill

  4. Wow, love the tree line. Such depth with the gorgeous shadow. I like how the gold is behind the black, like it's backlit
