Easter Greetings card this week and I thought I would go for a bright colour scheme and use yellows, orange and tan with a touch of green.
Here is my Easter card:-
What is needed:-
A5 sheet of pale green card
White card
Yellow and orange pens
Black Versafine ink pad
Stampendous Detail Clear Embossing powder
Small piece of cream linen card
Dreamweaver Stencil LJ829
Clearsnap Premium Dye ink spray Artichoke
Clearsnap Premium Dye ink spray Tangerine
Stickles Green Glitter Glue
Dark Green Alcohol Marker or pen of your choice
Method
1 Take A5 pale green card and fold in half and go around the edge with a dark green alcohol marker or medium of your choice.
2 Take the piece of white card and stamp the cross with the Versafine ink pad. Cover the image with the embossing powder and heat with a heat gun.
3 On more white card stamp the 'Happy Easter' sentiment and the single daffodil 5 times and emboss with the Detail Clear Embossing powder. All the pieces are coloured.
4 When the pieces have been coloured the panels and the backing layer are edged with the same pen as the outer edge of the card. The Koi brush pens would work
5 The backing layer was made from a piece of cream linen card that has patterned . I used spray and a Dreamweaver fern stencil and kept moving the stencil and changing the colour of the spray. The card was left to dry and then used when required.
6 Trim the cross image to the size required and matt this on to the card described in step 5.Step 6 is repeated for the Easter sentiment.
7 The single daffodil flowers are cut out.
8 The pieces are all layered together, the daffodil heads are applied on to the edge of the sentiment panel.
9 The final step is to apply some of the diamond Stickles glitter glue.
There you have it the card is complete. I hope you like it.
