Here is a card I did with a Stampendous stamp and coloured using Gelly Roll Sparkle pens to get the gentle colour I used a waterbrush.  The Sparkle pens just give that shimmer to the design.  The stamp would lend itself to more vibrant colouring but I preferred the lighter shades. As I was going to watercolour the ink pad that I used was a Stazon, this prevented the image bleeding when I used the waterbrush.

I put 2 matts on to the white card, a pale blue and a black.  The black one made the design pop off the card, whilst the blue blended with the design.
